"You know Matt, as fun as this road trip was, I miss home," Emily said. Matt stared into the distance, looking for a hotel.
"Well, we won't be making it home tonight," he said. Emily grinned mischieviously.
"I don't mind another sleepless night," she said. Matt smirked.
"I'm sure you don't." He pulled off into the next exit. A Larriot hotel came into view, and they pulled in. Emily noticed a gaggle of high school girls ogling Matt as he went to check them in. Emily gripped her bag and gave them her fiercest look. They backed off, looking very well frightened, but Emily was sure she would have to deal with them later. Matt came back with their key, and they carried their luggage upstairs......
